Christmas is definitely one of my favourite
times of year. Not just because of the usual reasons; the family, the food, the
presents and the celebrations. Another of my favourites at Christmas is bath
time.
Father Christmas (aka the boy) tends to spoil me in the form of bath bombs and shower gels every year, and this year was no different.
I received so many of my Lush favourites
for Christmas this year as well as some new products I had been wanting to try
out.
The first thing I opened was the Butterbear
Gift Tin. The Butterbear ballistic became a favourite of mine a few years ago.
I will admit I originally only bought it for it’s cute face as I am normally
drawn to very strong, and usually sweet, scents. The tin contained 6 bears,
that will last me a very long time as I usually break the bear up into 2 or 3
and put it in the bath with another part of a sweeter bath bomb. I also
received a butterball bath bomb with this.
I then opened another gift - Santa’s Belly
– this was a giant bauble decorated like a Santa suit. Inside the bauble there
was a tub of Santa’s belly shower jelly and a packet of red fun. I love both of
these products although I use the shower jelly as a body wash when I am in the
bath.
I also received A LOT of Fun from Lush this
year as it is one of my all time favourite products they sell. I received fun
in Santa, Snakes And Ladders, Sea Monsters and Monsters And Aliens. I really
love Fun as it is exactly that! I always break a little bit off and run it
under the water to create bubbles and a silky smooth bath. It can then be used
as shampoo or body wash as well as being mouldable so can be used as bath
friendly plastercine.
Alongside big presents I was also lucky
enough to receive some one-off items. I was debating buying Milky Bath when I
saw it in the Oxford Street store but decided against it so was happy to see
this wrapped up. Another first time try is the Dragons Egg bath bomb.
Unfortunately, this had been broken in the post so I will not see the full
effect when I put it in the bath but the scent is strong and the videos on the
website look amazing.
Something I had been meaning to repurchase myself was The Comforter shower gel, I bought a small bottle of this from the Oxford Street store in August and had already repurchased another small bottle since then. The boy had obviously taken note and bought me one of the biggest bottles so hopefully this one will last a lot longer.

Waves is a new Lush product that I didn’t
know about. When I opened it, it looked a lot like a block of soap but smelt
like another solid shampoo bar I loved, Seanik. I have used Waves almost every
time I have washed my hair since Christmas day and absolutely love it. I will definitely
be repurchasing this.
I have been spreading my love of Lush for a
while now and the boy’s niece has been wanting to go to Oxford Street to check
out the Lush store. I have made plans to take her during the school holidays so
we bought her a gift card to spend. Knowing I would also want to buy so many
things, the boy had put a gift card in my presents so I can treat myself when
we are there as well.
I know I have been massively spoilt with
all of these presents from Lush and couldn’t be more grateful to the boy for
this HUGE haul this year and am already counting down the days until I go to
London and can re stock.
What are your favourite Lush products? Give
me ideas of what to purchase when I next visit the Oxford Street store.
