Buckles’ boys were playing chase up from early on after
going a goal down in the 22nd minute.
Performances from Rowe Turner, Shaw and captain Ronnie Henry
didn’t meet the manager’s demands and the trio were replaced by goal scorers Kasim
and Fleetwood as well as new boy Jake Robinson.
The change stepped up the tempo of the game and after being
on the pitch just 5 minutes the young midfielder put himself on the scoreboard.
Luton were then in a much more attacking form that they had
been showing and in just another 3 minutes a second goal was added from the
Towns top goal scorer.
A more convincing second half regained some faith amongst
the fans going into Saturday’s home fixture against Southport.
