We left early and were really lucky with the weather, we strolled through The Lanes, stopped for a coffee and then headed on down to the sea front.
I have been to a few Mini conventions now with the boy and always spend way more time looking at what's on the bonnet rather than underneath it.
As always the artwork on some of the cars was stunning, the stickers were the usual quotes and quips and there was the underlying hatred of anything branded by BMW.
I spread the brightness by tagging 'Keep It Bright' on a variety of minis offering their bonnets to passers by.
I impressed myself (way more than I should admit to) when I was able to name car parts and even recognised TV car man Ed China.
Ed arrived in a little orange car, a total irony of proportion when I stood next to him and had to stretch up to his knee!
We then had fish and chips on the beach another stroll along the stalls and ended the day with donuts and arcade games on the pier.
