Making Me Smile After A Ruff Day

One of my favourite quotes is one by Groucho Marx, ‘Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.’ I love this quote for many reasons; firstly, because it makes me smile whenever I read, hear, think it! Secondly, it is true of my life so far – I have grown up with a dog in the house at all ages, along with many books.

Nothing beats coming home to an overexcited puppy waiting for you tail wagging and with a present in mouth! Molly isn’t quite a puppy anymore, at 8 years old, but still waits at the door as soon as she hears a car pull up with a tennis ball, or teddy, or rope in her mouth waiting for you to open the door.

It can be hard figuring out how to repay such unconditional love, I don’t fancy carrying tennis balls round in my mouth! Petshop.co.uk made it so much easier with their amazing range of dog treats.

I don’t like giving Molly treats as most of them are either pumped full of artificial nonsense or just smell so bad I don’t want them in my kitchen! I got some Pet Munchies Chicken Breast Fillets from the website, the first thing I loved were that the treats are 100% natural product, this also means they smelt just like chicken when I opened them. I picked one out and enjoyed watching Molly throw it around her bed before she decided to munch it down and she was just as happy with her new treats as I was.

I also got some new dry food for her as the website offers a bottomless bowl – a service that means I will never run out of dog food again. I tried the Canagan Dry Chicken food. Again, this made me happy to read about as the food is all natural and made with fresh meat and vegetables.

You can visit the website here and find more about the bottomless bowl here. If you want to place an order you can receive 5% off your order by using the code FRIENDS7 at the checkout and make your puppy as happy as mine.
