I have to say Luton Town have got an amazing set of staff and the day was fantastic from start to finish. When we arrived we were taken to the Eric Morecambe lounge where we sat and had a drink before we were taken around the ground, into the dressing room to meet the players. We also had photos with players; I picked the captain Steve McNulty. We were also taken out onto the pitch where we had another picture in front of the Kenilworth Road stand.
When we were taken back to the lounge we sat down to lunch where we chatted with other fans and made our predictions for the score of the game and the match attendance, I didn’t get either of them right!
The game was a much better game than what I had seen this season and the final score proved that the team played much better football.
Ex-Luton player Claude Gnakpa was also in the director’s box watching the game, it was nice to see him on his feet celebrating when The Hatters secured their first home win in the league.
After the game Luton’s number 1, Mark Tyler, was presented with the man of the match trophy and then presented prizes for the winners of the score and attendance predictions. He also said happy birthday to the boy’s mum and they had a picture together.
We left after another drink and chatting to some of the other players.
I would definitely recommend it to fellow Hatters, it was a great day out and we were treated so well by everyone we saw on the day.
I received the pictures in the post this morning so I will include those down below.
