I mean, not about the date, obviously I know it is October (and autumn in England) but I can officially get excited about everything scary, orange and pumpkin flavoured.
October for me means lighting spiced candles, eating candy corn by the bucket load, owls everywhere you go, baking pumpkin pie and throwing on jumpers bigger than my duvet!
This year I get to celebrate ‘fall’ with America via my Mother and the international postal service! I received a parcel from her a few days ago bursting with all of my favourite Halloween / Autumnal goodies.
In the parcel was Halloween candy including candy corn flavoured M&M’s and pumpkin patch pop rocks. There was also a giant felt owl that quickly found a home on my shelf and some jelly owl decorations that were stuck on my desk.
Autumn has been creeping in everywhere and I enjoyed a lovely spiced mocha at Costa yesterday, I couldn’t completely say goodbye to summer so I did have to order an orange and passion fruit cooler!
