My bath bombs are stored in my really neat ‘Pillars of Fizz’, made from recycled black tubs from Lush, and when I put them in I throw them all in without any rhyme or reason so when I reach in to pull one out it’s a complete surprise.
Last week I settled down into a ‘Big Blue’ bath, a beautiful mix of greens and blues. I will admit I didn’t get the bright sea blue colour that the website advertises but I did get the smooth silky feeling on my skin and I loved the bits of seaweed as the bath bomb broke up.
I did spend hours in this bath and had to top up the hot water more times than normal but after the seaweed melted into the water I noticed the difference when I got out. It definitely left my skin feeling a lot smoother and cleaner, almost as if the sea salt worked as a scrub without me knowing!
Another bath bomb I have been loving is the ‘Honey Bee’, as a huge fan of ‘Honey, I Washed The Kids’ I knew I would love the scent of this bomb and had high hopes.
I am happy to say I wasn’t let down, the smell filled my bathroom and again the bath bomb left the water feeling silky against my skin. This bath bomb also created a lot more bubbles that the Big Blue which I was pleasantly surprised by.
I would definitely recommend the Lush bath bombs as they really do leave your bathwater feeling silky smooth, an amazing colour and refreshing smell. Some people do break the bath bombs in half and use them over two baths, this is a great way to make them last longer as they are more expensive than a bottle of bubbles from the supermarket but I must admit I am far too indulgent at bath times and just drop the whole thing in!
Have you tried anything from Lush? What are your favourites? I am always looking to try new products!
