Luton Town V Welling

After 6 consecutive games away from Kenilworth Road it felt like the beginning of the season all over again dusting the cobwebs of my seat today.

Two goals from top goal scorer Andre Gray secured the Hatters 3 points and softened the blow of a penalty given to Welling at the start of second half.

A slow performance from the boys in orange was sped up by substitutions Luke Gutteridge and Matt Robinson.

The Hatters gave a less than convincing performance of what has been described by John Still as his league winning side but walking off the pitch with 3 points I’m sure he was still happy.

Another game at home on Tuesday, where we welcome back old faces Richard Brodie and Jamie Hand, so hopefully a much better performance with more goals and a clean sheet.
