When I arrived home from Manchester on Friday night I was greeted with a bright red box, quite apt as it was indeed Valentines night.
With high hopes I opened the box and was definitely not let down, I was super impressed with my first Birchbox so was keen to see if it was first timers luck or if I would be that happy every month (and I was).
In this box I received a wider variety of products including some lovely make up items and with it being the Love edition the little cards were full of cute quotes, pictures and tips & tricks.
The product I was most excited about trying was the Eyeko felt tip eyeliner as I had seen and heard some really good reviews about this and most days eyeliner is as far as my make-up routine goes.
The other products I received were Urbanveda Radiance Exfoliating Face Polish, Beauty Protector’s Protect & Oil, Gilchrist & Soames The London Collection Shower Gel, Modelco Party Proof Matte Lipstick and a little Green & Blacks Dark Chocolate treat.
The lipstick is a beautiful nude colour and completely matte on my lips which I love as it is a lovely day colour and will also look nice with a dramatic eye look for the more daring among us.
The Urbanveda exfoliating face polish is amazing, firstly it smells great but it also really does do what it promises by exfoliating my face (gently as I do have very wimpy skin!) and leaving it feeling soft, refreshed and naturally glowing.
The chocolate bar is still in the box but will be a delicious little treat when I get a bit peckish, overall another great delivery and left me looking forward to March.
