Count your blessings not your problems..

Another year over. As I sit here writing this I am not quite sure how it is physically possible that I am reflecting on 2016 and looking forward to 2017.

The Student Service You’ve Been Waiting 4

When I made the decision to go back to uni part time I was worried about a handful of things. Firstly, being called a ‘mature’ student made me feel way above my years! Then there was the studying and working; would it work, could it work and will I really feel like a student if I am only at uni 4 hours a week?

Making Me Smile After A Ruff Day

One of my favourite quotes is one by Groucho Marx, ‘Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.’ I love this quote for many reasons; firstly, because it makes me smile whenever I read, hear, think it! Secondly, it is true of my life so far – I have grown up with a dog in the house at all ages, along with many books.

Be You (But Better)

I am really bad at New Year’s resolutions and don’t think I have ever been able to keep one for an extended period of time.

A Lush-ous Christmas

Christmas is definitely one of my favourite times of year. Not just because of the usual reasons; the family, the food, the presents and the celebrations. Another of my favourites at Christmas is bath time.

Father Christmas (aka the boy) tends to spoil me in the form of bath bombs and shower gels every year, and this year was no different.
