One of my favourite quotes is one by
Groucho Marx, ‘Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog,
it’s too dark to read.’ I love this quote for many reasons; firstly, because it
makes me smile whenever I read, hear, think it! Secondly, it is true of my life
so far – I have grown up with a dog in the house at all ages, along with many
books.

Way Back Whensday
This is a phrase I first heard on a local
country radio in Mt. Vernon, Illinois 5 years ago but have been hearing it more
and more recently.

Be You (But Better)
I am really bad at New Year’s resolutions
and don’t think I have ever been able to keep one for an extended period of
time.

A Lush-ous Christmas
Christmas is definitely one of my favourite
times of year. Not just because of the usual reasons; the family, the food, the
presents and the celebrations. Another of my favourites at Christmas is bath
time.
Father Christmas (aka the boy) tends to spoil me in the form of bath bombs and shower gels every year, and this year was no different.

Gift Sets And Gold Coins
As fairy lights cover shop windows and the
smell of cinnamon fills the air I know it’s nearly time to count down to Christmas.
