I was already super excited to be in the same room as Toadfish but when we got to the theatre we had front row tickets which doubled my excitement!
The pantomime also starred EastEnders star Lesley Grantham, a fantastic young star playing the role of Dick and Leon Craig excelled as Sarah the Cook.
We went to the final show of the year and this meant some scenes went off script but that added to the interaction between the audience and the stage.
The show was really enjoyable and then afterwards I was looking forward to meeting one of my idols.
Waiting in the rain, wind and hailstones I spotted Ryan Maloney on his phone across a ‘no public entry’ car park. I immediately ran up to him and threw myself around him before asking him for a hug!
He obliged and we shared a quick hug and a few selfies before I was asked to leave as it was a no public area.
I was walking on the clouds when I left having not only seen a great show but also met someone I had watched on television for years and years.
I am already looking up the 2014/15 show and planning on booking another trip.
