Another less than average performance meant a goal from Luke Guttridge in the 97th minute was the only thing Luton fans had to cheer about.
The Towns only saving grace of the game was Macclesfield’s inability to shoot as the boys in orange could’ve easily been 2 or 3 down in the first half.
Luton’s fans made their disapproval very clear as there were boos around the stadium yet again; I understand how frustrating it can be as a Luton fan but booing your own player off the pitch is something I will never support.
Overall, not much to report from this game, few chances were created. Lawless is very missed in Midfield and the team seem to be unavailable to keep the ball on the floor for longer than 3 kicks.
However, it is still only 3 games into a very long season so there is plenty of time to improve.
Make sure you check back for a (hopefully) much better game on Saturday 24th August.
Thank you so much for the follow.
