Recently, someone I work with became a father. As he is Irish I had been asking him which member of Boyzone he would name his son after! Turns out he didn’t choose any of them!

Last night, Sunday, I went to the cinema with my Mum to see a cinema I had been anticipating for a few months. 

Cheese And Cake?

As I mentioned a few days ago I have been getting all creative and decided my outlet was cakes. A while ago my sister was told she couldn’t eat gluten and as much as she tries to follow the rules one thing she does miss is cheesecake. (And sausage rolls, and bread, and big macs, and fish and chips but none of those would fit this post!)

Last Tuesday was the day Canada celebrated their independence, so working with a Canadian, and looking for any excuse for a celebration we put on a Canada Day party!

Up To My Knees In Nappies

Recently I have been feeling all creative and decided to let this out in the form of cake. I have been making tiers of the most weird and wonderful kinds.

This weekend I decided to try my luck at making a nappy cake, I have seen them online and at baby showers and decided Baby Humphries needed one as well.

Sun, Sea and Squid?

Recently I travelled to one of the Canary Islands to visit some friends, relax, take a break, dip my feet in the sea and try new things. I can happily say I ticked everything off my list.  

Deciding to take a trip alone initially filled me with fear; I am not a massive fan of flying and have never done the whole airport to aeroplane process by myself before! The knowledge that I would be landing in a much warmer climate made the fear shrink and as I was sat on the plane waiting to take off I must admit some of that fear did turn into excitement and after a few hours in the air, dare I say it, I began to enjoy myself!
