I want to share with you my latest purchase...
A Clairabella bag for my mum’s birthday.

Anyone who isn’t familiar with these can find examples here: http://www.claireabelladesigns.co.uk/ but basically, they are personalised canvas bags, made famous by any reality TV celebrity found in Essex, Newcastle, New Jersey or a Big Brother house.

So I went online, designed the bag, made my order and waited, and waited. And I waited.

For a website that boasts its “High Quality and Fast Delivery” with a delivery service that “can take up to 15 working days” I found myself still waiting one month after my order date. So I emailed customer service, I tweeted the designer, I even commented on the website, all of which seemed to fall on deaf ears.

However, 5 weeks after my initial order, I received the post I had been waiting for. It was wrapped beautifully in a pink parcel and when I opened it, it was prettier than I had imagined.

The detail put into the bags is amazing, the extra 3D touches really do finish the bag off in such a professional way and even with the delay my Mum was really happy with the present she had almost given up on.

These bags may be seen as a bit pricey for “a name on a Sainsburys bag for life” but they really do make great gifts, and as long as you have weeks and weeks to wait for delivery I guarantee you will be impressed with the craftsmanship that goes into every single unique one.
