Countdown to Christmas – 5th December 2014

My main panic at this time of year is the postal service. As I said yesterday I am usually a lot more organised than this so have presents wrapped and posted before I have even opened the first window on my advent calendar.

I usually send presents to my Auntie in America as well as my little cousins, this year I also have to account for my Mum being in another country too.

I have the presents ready to go now, I just need to go on another little trip to the Post Office and pray I still have plenty of time for them to arrive for the big day.

My Mum will be with my Auntie on Christmas Day so hopefully all of the presents will arrive together although as soon as my Auntie sees the calendar shaped parcel drop through her door she will not be able to wait before checking out next year’s Cliff Richard photos!

Buying presents to send abroad is another worry as every time I picked something up I was thinking of how to wrap it safely and how much it would weigh to send on a plane. I will fill you in with what I chose after Christmas as my Mum reads this and I don't want to spoil it for her.
