Feeling Fruity

If you follow me on Instagram you will see I posted a picture yesterday of some healthy treats I picked up from my local shop.

I have been trying to make a conscious effort to be healthier whilst I am on holiday; it is so easy to snack on rubbish food. I am no stranger to having a bag of crisps for breakfast or taking a little trip to KFC at 2am!

My two worst habits are eating at the wrong times and snacking rather than eating meals. I am aiming to kick both of those in the butt! For a few days now I have been ensuring that I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and eating them at the right times of day.

Something I have fallen in love with is a pineapple cutter my Mum gave me! It sounds really stupid but this little gadget has made my lunch a lot easier, it’s super quick and easy to use and can be found online for as little as £3!

All I had to do was cut the top and bottom of the pineapple and then with one tool I can core the pineapple, cut it into rings or my personal favourite, segments.

I then made lunch with pineapple, Greek style yoghurt, a drizzle of honey topped with granola and some squares of dairy milk. It was delicious and really filled me up.

I also picked up some bear fruit, I have loved yo yo fruit from the same brand, they are basically rolls of fruit that taste like a sweet but made with pure fruit and no added rubbish! The bear fruit is just little pieces of fruit in a bag, I picked up 2 flavours. Mango and pineapple are more of a crisp texture and are so tasty and juicy. The berry collection looks like raisins and are a juicy mix of strawberries and cherries.
