Travel Buddy

Travelling alone can be a whole mix of emotions ranging from terrifying, boring, tiring, confusing and lonely. To combat some of these I made my friend a little travel buddy bag and included all of the things I thought she would need on her 9 hour flight.

Canadia was flying home for the summer and wasn’t looking forward to the journey, she hates flying and not even the thought of going home and seeing her family could make her shake that.

So I surprised her at the airport, arms full with Canada banners and a little travelling present. As presumed, she cried when she saw me and I am still telling myself they were tears of shock and joy!

Inside the bag I included some items necessary for anybody travelling as well as some personal ones just for her. I stuck a post it note on every item with a little reason why it was in the bag.

If you would like to make your friend cry at an airport, or you just wanna nose in Canadia’s bag I have listed below everything I included and why.

A travel toothbrush and toothpaste – for those pearly whites
A sleeping mask – to help you sleep
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Leuithan – for when you can’t sleep
Nivea daily face wipes – because Pampers are bad for your face
Nivea roll on deodorant – for the person sat next to you
Nivea essential care lip balm – in case you need to pucker up
Paracetamol – for after the 2nd glass of wine
A 5 pence piece – so you’re never totally broke

You do need to make sure everything you buy is in travel size and flight tested if you are buying liquids of beauty products. These are available everywhere during holiday season, I got a range of Nivea travel products from my local supermarket.
