I have been trying a lot of different fruits and actually enjoying most of them. Yes, you read that right, I have been enjoying fruit!
I first bought bananas, grapes, pineapple, grapefruit, melon, raspberries, yoghurt, and fruit juice to make some really juicy and fruity smoothies.
The first smoothie I made included pineapple, grapes, raspberries, grapefruit, a banana, and fruit juice. It blended really well and was so full of flavour; the only negative was that it was quite bitty. I think this was because the grape skin didn’t bend very smooth so decided to keep them out of the next drink and just eat them with yoghurt!
Since then I have used the fruit in different combinations to test out my favourites. I have discovered that melon is one of my favourite flavours in a smoothie; I have also added extra ingredients such as peanut butter powder, instant coffee and almonds.
My favourite smoothie so far is melon, banana, peanut butter powder, and yoghurt. I have bought some ice cream to add to my drinks now to thicken them up and give me some other options.
