From Steady To Schoolboy

I am a bit late getting in to writing up this season; however, do not fear – I have returned to Kenilworth Road with the boys in orange.



Luton had a fantastic return to the Football League with an away win at Carlisle. Unfortunately, this didn’t last!

So far the Town have a match record of just the one win! Those 3 points are bumped up by two draws but boos were heard following the two losses.

I have said before, and will say again, I will never boo my team or manager of the pitch. And, I definitely feel that 5 games into a season is far too early to write anyone off, however, the football I have seen coming from last year’s champions has not always been the most convincing of a team fighting to be top of the table.

Gaffer, John Still, has recently described the team as ‘steady’ as he told the press his team hadn’t been too good or too bad. This changed following their most recent defeat where the manager blamed the two goals on ‘schoolboy errors’.
