Countdown to Christmas – December 16th 2013

I cannot quite believe I am already sitting here writing my 16th daily blog with just over a week to go until the big day. I must admit, at first, I was daunted by the daily blogging idea and don’t think I truly understood the massive commitment it was until about day 4.



At the beginning of December I was feeling extremely prepared for Christmas this year, with a lot of lists written, plans made and presents coming to shape. Now, more than half way along, I’m not so sure!

All of my presents are sorted, cards and paper have been bought, however they are still sat in the exact same place. I haven’t yet written a single card or wrapped a present that wasn’t being posted to another country!

Writing the date today made me realise just how close the 25th was, and hopefully has given me the push I needed to complete all the minor details. I really believe the tiny finishing touches make everything better; I just need to get around to doing them!
