My Dad is not materialistic and definitely not impressed by big labels so the designer shops are not where I go for my Dad. He also isn’t the stereotypical Dad to buy presents for so golf clubs, a snazzy shirt and tie, a remote control helicopter or a wallet and socks combo wouldn’t be where I would be looking either.
In the past I have tried to include the personal touch and most of my presents are ones that he could only receive from me and I didn’t want this year to be any different.
So when I saw a gift experience titled ‘Gravity Rush For Two’ I instantly thought of my Dad! This is a voucher for a day out where Dad (and me) can choose to bungee jump, go water zorbing or Segway racing.
In the past I have brought my Dad some gift experiences for driving days and speed challenges so I thought this was something he will love. I was also drawn in by the ‘for two’ at the end as I thought it would be some great quality time for us both.
I am a major daddy’s girl and sometimes it upsets me that we don’t get much time together now that I’m getting older and that darned thing ‘life’ keeps getting in the way!
