I have had a really busy day but feel like I have achieved A LOT. I caught up on everything I had left over to do from yesterday’s list, (read about that here). I helped Santa by delivering some presents for him to the boys nephew (and let him open them early! But it was so worth it seeing how much he loved what we got him.)
I watched my second favourite Christmas film with my Mum who had never seen it, for those wondering what it is, it’s Elf. Oh, and my first favourite is a bit of a cheat as it’s a trilogy but it would have to be Home Alone, yes I do include Home Alone 3 as I still laugh every time I watch it.
I also then decided to treat my Mum to a hot Christmas treat inspired by Zoella from YouTube, unfortunately that wasn’t such a hit but I will tell you about that another time!
I opened the final window in my advent calendar and was thoroughly disappointed as it was a 2 window box so I was expecting a big ol’ chocolatey treat. What I got was a chocolate moon smaller than every other day. With the amount of chocolate in my house I will definitely not go without so I don’t know why I was so disappointed but I think it was the build-up of false expectations.
Right now I am snuggled up watching Christmas videos on YouTube with a refreshing bottle of Grape Soda (I know so festive!) I do have a pumpkin candle burning as I count down until midnight and then make sure I am fast asleep so the morning comes quicker!
I wish you all the happiest of days whatever you are doing and whoever you are with, just know you are blessed and be thankful for everything you have not just at this time of year but all year around. From my heart to yours a massive Merry Christmas filled with lots of warm hugs and yummy treats.
