Everyday throughout December I will be posting a Christmas blog in the countdown to the 25th sharing with you my excitement, some gifts and experiences to hopefully get you all as excited as I am.
Today, with it being the first day I will tell you about my first Christmas indulgence in the shape of a Honeycomb & Cream hot chocolate courtesy of Costa.
I love Costa at Christmas more than ever; their cups are super cute (I went for a large just for the Santa cup), they also bring out flavours that I would happily drink all year round such as honeycomb, salted caramel and gingerbread.
Martin, his nephew and I were doing a bit of shopping (necessities rather than splurging on gifts) and as a brand new shiny Costa had just opened we thought it would be rude of us not to stop in for a drink and a cake.
Martin and I both decided upon the Honeycomb & Cream (both large of course) whereas his nephew just had milk. I chose a slice of the all-time favourite Tiffin cake, Martin had some chocolate and raspberry cake and his nephew wouldn’t put down the gingerbread reindeer!
I must admit coming in from the cold to relax with a hot chocolate from a Santa cup made the start of December a good-un for me this year.
I’ve already done a bit of shopping but I am so excited to share with you my Christmas joy and we can countdown together.
