This weekend I had loads of fun using these chunky chalks and was sat on the driveway for hours drawing and writing before rubbing it out and starting again.
The boy’s nephew (Dufus) and niece (Ash) also had some fun; we wrote our names, drew love hearts and flowers and created our own chalk handprints on the driveway.
Ash and I drew out a hop scotch and tried to teach Dufus how to play. Have you ever tried to teach a 3-year-old to hop and then scotch? It is a lot harder than it sounds, but it was really cute watching him try.
In the pack of sidewalk chalk there was 4 chunky chalks and 4 thinner chalks, the chunky chalks could be used with a spinner that was also included. You are meant to load the chalk into the spinner and as you release it the chalk drops onto the pavement and creates its own squiggly lines. I must admit I didn’t use this a lot as I wanted to just draw.
I am certain these chalks will be getting a lot of use and I will be drawing until they are gone (and probably repurchasing them again and again!)
