As you definitely know by now I went to see Boyzone last
week, and not only were the 4 boyz amazing (read all about that here) but they
had an equally talented support act.
Jessica Clemmons was the only support act listed for Boyzone
on Wednesday night but her 40 minute slot was like a mini show in itself with a
great mix of upbeat songs, slow ballads and even a 90s medley which I particularly
enjoyed.
Jessica is a pop country singer from Texas, USA and her
songs really show her roots. As a big fan of country music both traditional and
modern I was really entertained by her mix of songs and really wanted to get up
and dance along to the big country hits like ‘Single Tonight’ as well as whip
out my lighter and sway my arms to the slow one ‘Love Like That’.
It isn’t very often that a support act entertains me for
more than the 20-minute slot they are allocated but I purchased Jessica’s
newest EP at the concert and have since been blasting it out of my iPod.
Her voice is very powerful and she managed to fill the
Brighton Centre with ease. She also stepped out into the foyer during the
interval and I was lucky enough to meet her where she signed my CD and posed
for a photo.
I spoke to her about my blog and she did say she would check it out, so if you are reading this Jessica I just want to say I truly wish you all the best of success because I don’t believe with your talent you need luck!

I really look forward to hearing more about and from
Jessica, if you want to check her out I will leave all of her links down below.
